I honestly mainly bought this set just for the panther:-/ but the vehicles included and the accessories are fantastic aswell. Plus I purchased it very cheap ($25 aud) so really good buy.

All in all, I'm really happy with 60159 Jungle Half Track Mission and thoroughly recommend it for anyone looking to dip their toes into LEGO City Jungle. It's hands down one of the better LEGO City sets in the second half of the year, and is backed by a really accessible price point.
The Jungle Halftrack Mission is a good set all things considered. It has a great value for a City theme set both in terms of brick count, and build time. I was not a fan of the small buggy build, and really feel that those pieces should have gone to making a more detailed shrine and halftrack vehicle. The main reason that I bought this set was for the panther figurine, which is awesome. The actual Minifigures are nicely detailed and fun, but are not that different from Minifigures included in the other Jungle Exploration sets. I recommend this set for the panther figurine alone, because it is the cheapest way to get one of the new LEGO big cats, and it is a good value set. The play possibilities are ok with the halftrack vehicle. But, if you have more than one Jungle Exploration vehicle from other sets, then then rebuilding options are excellent.
In summary, the two vehicles, two minifigures, temple and panther give this set plenty to build and enough playability to ensure it is engaging.
For kids, this set is a pure winner. Two minifigs (one male, one female which is nice), the black panther, two vehicles, some random accessories, and a bit of temple makes for a great self-contained playset. For a child, this set is definitely worth the $40 original price tag. However, for adult collectors I don't think the value is quite there. The smaller of the two vehicles doesn't offer up anything new or unique and could have been easily omitted for adult collectors.
The flame yellowish orange colour scheme of the exploration vehicles looks good and I really appreciate the new animals, with the panther being the highlight of the set in my opinion. [...] 60159 Jungle Halftrack Mission offers great value and I would certainly recommend it, particularly if you are not intending to purchase either of the largest sets in the wave.
