Purchased as a Christmas gift for my six year old grandson. He excitedly constructed the set and has requested more LEGO sets. My purchase price was less than the price offered in stores so I saved money by purchasing here on Amazon.
Among the 2019 city line, this is the best set yet. Not only for the golden minifigure (which is brand new and exclusive), but the helicopter is also really good. The net shooting feature is well-use, and the built is gorgeous compare to the other heilicopter sets. Beside, the drone is really cool and unique. Overall, this is one of a very few city sets that I really like, and I would highly recommend this for both reasonable buyers and minifigure collectors.
This set is unremarkable all around. The helicopter build is pretty ugly, the drone is oversized and not too good-looking, and the crook minifigure is boring. The gold fireman statue is pretty cool and the Sky Police officer looks nice, but those are not huge draws as the Sky Police officer appears in other sets and the statue is simply a small part of the set.
The drone is big and bold, used to steal a statue of gold. The baddy might get away, shoot him with a net, make him pay!
Other than the new helmet parts on the pilot minifigure, there's nothing particularly special about this set and it's unlikely to appeal to many AFOLs. I'm certain, however, that the target audience -- particularly those without a plethora of helicopters in their collection already -- will enjoy it and have fun with the net.
