My girls (10 and 12) loved the LEGO city Police Station. I thought they might be too old for it. They love LEGO but have been choosing more sets based on their favorite Star Wars and Marvel movies. However, they raced off with the box and spent an afternoon assembling the set. As usual, the set comes with easy-to-follow, colorful directions that kids can do by themselves.Once they had assembled the set, they were so excited to show it to me. It has lots of interactive features including bricks that light up on the cop car. There are fun details including a ping pong table for the cops when they have some downtime. The set comes with several characters from the LEGO television show. My girls have had so much fun playing and creating scenarios for the cops and the little criminals.It's a large LEGO set and it comes with a high price point. My kids insist it's worth every penny.

Compared to previous LEGO police sets, this one is not the best. A very basic build, more in the junior category of builds. It's a bunch of square rooms with not a lot of detail. While it isn't bad it is not good either. I wouldn't recommend this set.
