We really love LEGOs in this family. My son can spend hours playing with them. I really like them because he can be creative. Once he is done putting together the item he will often make his own creations.I love the quality of the LEGOs. I don't think we have ever had one break and we have many, many sets. I also like that he has something to play with once he makes it. Of course he has to be careful with it, but if he is, he can play with it.These make great gifts. I think my son loves it the best of all. It is good for both boys and girls. It is also nice when the set goes with something like this one does. This was a good set. He was able to put it together on his own. It really kept him occupied for quite a while. I think it is also educational. It is good that he can follow the directions and also for hand-eye coordination.I would highly recommend this set.

It was pretty easy to build and the instructions were easy to understand. The pieces did not really want to get stuck.

Some superb racing vehicles have appeared in previous City sets and 60256 Racing Cars continues that tradition. The red and white hatchback looks reasonably realistic and I am particularly impressed with its radiator grille. The second vehicle seems less appealing because of its short wheel base but I think packaging these cars together was sensible for play.
