nice play feature, unique figures and parts. decent play feature. A fun set.
I love this set. I bought it primarily for the queen figure. The build is easy and the color contrast between parts makes it blend in well with the whole "stone" theme. Arron (the green knight) is going to save the queen by shooting one of his darts at the shield, which reveals a trap door, which the queen can use to escape out of. The vehicle can be detached for a quick escape from the knights leaving behind the cage. The only thing I would "change" about the set is having a helmet for the queen so she can battle, safely ;) That would have been nice, but isn't necessarily important. Overall, I enjoyed this set and recommend it for anyone who likes good vs bad guys role play.
An okay set if you're getting the minifigures; however, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Am I converted – No, but to be fair LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS is not aimed at me or the AFOL community, It's aimed at my son and millions of kids around the world and based on his reaction and excitement LEGO have hit the nail on the head with this theme and the new Season 3 releases. What I can appreciate is the awesome colour palette, the careful balance in build difficulty, good value for money based on the piece count and shear bonkerness of the concept and theme. Lastly if my son ever grows tired of the theme at least I know I have a great source of unusual LEGO pieces and colours for my MOC adventures!
While I love a good vehicle, the best thing about this set for me is the minifigures. This set includes one bad guy and two good guys: Aaron and Queen Halbert. These two have their own unique color schemes with matching power armor.
