My kid loved it. There are quite a few elements like the additional figures, the car and the spaceship that keep him busy and excited about it.

How can a huge Lego set not be awesome? It can't. The Knighton Castle fills an important gap in the lives of the Nexo Knights. We've seen many vehicles, but we haven't seen where they actually live. With this set, you get beds, a dining table, lookout posts, and more. It's a little strange that the rooms of the castle are accessed from the back with no way to get to them from the front, but I guess you can use your imagination. It's made up for by the fact that it opens up. The castle is also nicely solid. Once you take off the escape ship, it can be picked up and moved without falling apart. It was a satisfying build, taking two sessions of a few hours each. I have a video of it up on my Youtube channel, Brick Building Fun, along with many others.

The Knighton Castle is an impressive set with a fun build, where each little detail is realized as it is assembled. Excitement for the finished product grows as parts of the castle come together. Many small things make the whole, giving plenty of play features for an experience fully immersed in the castle. Between the numerous minifigs given and the great price point for parts, what's not to love? Especially the rocket ship tower.
