Quake Mech

My 8yr old son built this without much help from me, it's a fairly tricky build partly due to its symmetry, once you've built one arm or leg, you'll be doing a mirror image next, and they're each pretty involved. Nice little details, like the spinning turntables in the cockpit make this a lot of fun. more less

I bought this along with a few other sets and couldn't wait to build it. I am so glad I did purchase this as it was an amazing build, it not only looks good but it functions really well, it was a lot bigger than I was expecting which was great, being a fan of LEGO. Keep it up LEGO more less

I think I actually quite like this set. I didn't really like it when I first saw images of it, but I definitely like it better now. The build is pretty good, playability is alright and the price is good too. The minifigure selection could have been a little bit better, though. more less

There's plenty to admire about the ludicrous nature of The LEGO NINJAGO Movie's mechs and their effective translations in brick form, and 70632 Quake Mech is a worthy, if late, addition to an impressive line-up. For those with the budget, this is the standout set from the second wave of TLNM sets. more less

This set has definitely surpassed my high expectations! The stability of the model is remarkable given its design and the articulation is excellent, offering considerable play value as well as plenty of options for display. I am also quite pleased with the functionality of the vehicle and the level of detail throughout is impressive, using a few stickers where necessary but relying primarily upon pearl gold and dark brown accents which look marvellous. more less

The LEGO 70632 set brings the mech suit in a wonderful, realistic manner that is true to the movie and looks very fun to look at and play with. The unicycle mech is very posable, with hidden “soundwave" missiles and much more. The LEGO Quake Mech stands on a single wheel, which of course makes it hard to balance. But it does have a stand behind it that helps it stand up, in spite of the wheel. This makes this set cool to display while not playing as well. more less

Quake Mech looks very cool and is quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be. The key features of the larger Quake Mech in the actual LEGO Ninjago Movie have all been captured in this model, without suffering from too much shrinkage. There's plenty of stable upper body movement and the simple stand works very well, somewhat surprisingly for a very top-heavy build. Apart from our token civilian Fred, the minifigures are not really unique to this set (Crusty and Crusher are close enough to be counted as nearly the same), and may already be in your collection or available in cheaper tie-in sets. more less
