I very recently became a fan of Ninjago. I wasn't really into it, but now I can't get enough of it lol. So I bought this pack and oh boy is it great. I mostly wanted the Jay mini-fig, but I built up the spinner and it's pretty cool. Spins nicely and even my dog (Chihuahua) wanted in on the action. It was barking and trying to back kick it (yes like a donkey) while it was spinning. I definitely recommend this and you can put any figure in it.. so if you want Santa spinning across your floor, go for it!
My 5 year old son loves the Spinjitzu sets - they remind him of BeyBladez so they're fun to battle. The only thing about these little sets is that there are almost too many options to use them in battle. You have defense, speed, and attack modes where you can swap around the pieces and make it look different. The thing is, you need to stop and reconstruct it depending on what the other player is doing... takes some time and my son has managed to lose some of the pieces by now (we've had it 3 weeks). It took him a bit to get the hang of spinning it... but once he got it, he can get the Spinjitzu moving fast. I've since bought 2 others - they're a good deal for LEGOs at under $10 each.
