This is possibly my favorite castle set. A nice size, nice price, great mini-figures, and great looking. If this is the final year for fantasy in the Castle line, then it is definitely going out in style. If fantasy is going to continue, then bring it on.

For me, this set is a must buy for all the castle fan. The set is very good looking, and once dismantled, there is a lot of very useful parts! This is the first "big" set of the Fantasy Era I bought, and I have to admit that the quality is "au rendez-vous". This is not the first drawbridge made by TLC [...], but as far as I'm concerned, it's the best one.

This was purchased for my 7-1/2 yr old grandson, along with another Lego castle set. His 5-1/2 yr old brother received the pirate ship. They love all of these sets and played with them for hours while visiting my home. The boys play with their lego sets every day and never seem to tire of them. They also have some Star Wars sets. Their imaginations (and little fingers) never seem to tire of building and playing with their Legos. Definitely worth the price. So many toys break as soon as they are out of the box, or the kids tire of them quickly. Not the Lego's! Great investment.

I have to say that any self-respecting Castle fan would have to get this set. The parts are entirely unremarkable, granted, but with a simple modification, this set could easily be incorporated into the King's Castle Siege. The figures in this set make this one impossible to pass up.
