This building set is a fun way for fans of The LEGO Movie to build and play out favorite scenes from the movie or imagine all-new adventures for the LEGO characters.
For me, the Police speeder alone is enough to sell this set, and I do not think you will be disappointed if you do indeed decide to pick it up.
This set is great, especially since this cop vehicle was a bigger part of the movie than some of the other sets available. The car is a great set but the train track structure seems to be filler so they can justify the price tier that they put it in.
This is a fun set. Two minifigures is a bit low for the price point but the builds are good, especially the Bad Cop flying car. Price is good except it's maybe a little high in the U.S. Not really any serious complaints here.
This is the only set with Bad Cop in it and the hover car is rather nice, but the rest of the set is somewhat lacking.
To my great surprise, I've come away thinking that this set is a bit of a must-buy. The builds are great, especially the car car, which is simply outstanding. There is an excellent amount of pieces for the price, and though the minifigures might not sell this set, Bad Cop is great.
It's a fun and intricate build. The two wheel rims aren't used for wheels, as this car has none! Some SNOT turns them into an oval frame for the thrusters, a technique much loved by fan builders. There's less SNOT than I anticipated, just eight brackets, but there are many kinds of hinges utilised; this set is almost a Who's Who of Hinges.
In the end, this is a highly playable set. I think the highlight is the awesome looking cop car, although how it's meant to be related to a couple of cop-crocs and an old railway platform beats me.
This is a solid set. With two figs, cool play features, and a neat vehicle, the $30 price tag is justified. Plus, its 314 pieces bring the price-per-piece ratio to about $0.10 each, seemingly unheard of these days. I would definitely recommend this set for fans of the movie, especially if they want the Bad Cop fig. Be sure to give this a look next time you see it!
