Overall, this figure is a nice figure. I love the delightful Octopus helmet mold! However, the rest of the body is a bit on the plain side which is rather disappointing.
The parts assortment are average. There is a fish which act like a baton and a stud gun shooter. The aquatic oxygen chamber at the rear and the octopus helmet can actually fit nicely on one another.
Much like the world of Ninjago itself, these characters, who range from a sushi chef to a teen pop fan, abide in a stereotyping mashup of all things Asian.
This is another great series of LEGO Minifigures and although it's a licensed series, it's more like the stand series especially when you compare it to The LEGO Batman Movie series from earlier in the year. The new parts are great and there are a few useful pieces MOC builders will enjoy.
The Shark Army Octopus does not appear in any sets at the moment and is one of the wackiest members of Garmadon's aquatic army so this minifigure seems certain to be popular! The helmet is made from a rubber material and cast in dark orange. It looks brilliant, leaving a space for the eyes to peak through a gap in the mask and showing a scar on the head underneath.
