Yes it's an expansive set, with an RRP of £99.99 on newer consoles, but if you shop around it can be found for just £79.99. Minus the cost of the software which is around £40, meaning the Toy Pad, Gateway and minifigures/vehicles could be thought as a £40 set. Not bad going for a device which will be supported with content for at least three years.

I purchased this a while back from my local GameStop store. I had a lot of trade in value so got the starter pack for about $40,along with a few extra sets of characters to start off. It has been my obsession now for about the last year. This game gets better with each new set that comes out. It is truly a never ending story. This may be my new favorite game of all-time on any console.

If you are looking for a new and exciting way to experience LEGO, you have found it. Based on building the portal and the few levels of the game I have played so far, LEGO Dimensions is a clear winner. I hope LEGO releases some actual sets based on the game as there are a variety of interesting characters and locations involved that deserve to be immortalized in physical bricks and made widely available.
