I would call myself somewhat of a Lego expert so when I found out the temple of light was a retired product I was really bummed so I decided to purchase myself the golden mech (since it was included in the temple of light) and when I received it I thought it was brilliant and had a load of great mini figures, pose able limbs and even came with the golden ninja a mini figure I have been looking for for years. All in all it was a brilliant set and would recommend to others
We really love LEGOs in this family. My son can spend hours playing with them. I really like them because he can be creative. Once he is done putting together the item he will often make his own creations.I love the quality of the LEGOs. I don't think we have ever had one break and we have many, many sets. I also like that he has something to play with once he makes it. Of course he has to be careful with it, but if he is, he can play with it.These make great gifts. I think my son loves it the best of all. It is good for both boys and girls. It is also nice when the set goes with something like this one does. This was a good set. He was able to put it together on his own. It really kept him occupied for quite a while. I think it is also educational. It is good that he can follow the directions and also for hand-eye coordination.I would highly recommend this set.
71702 Golden Mech is certainly among my favourite LEGO mechs. Previous models, such as 70676 Lloyd's Titan Mech, appear more substantial and incorporate more advanced construction techniques but this creation offers unrivalled articulation so looks outstanding on display. The white and pearl gold colour scheme is also impressive and I like the subtle detail across the mech's armoured exterior.
