Likely the best Ninjago bike so far with working suspension and great figures. BUILD: It went together quickly, with some satisfying shaping and colors. PLAY: The bike is super playable, especially since the suspension on the back wheel works satisfyingly. The minifigs included are great, including Nya as the only set of the wave with her. Unfortunately (and this is something I've heard other people struggling with as well) the machetes fall out of Nya's lightsaber hilt very easily and sit quite loosely, so care must be taken when handling them. DISPLAY: The color scheme looks very cohesive in my opinion, and sits nicely next to the other NINJAGO Island sets. The biggest drawback is that it is difficult to get the bike to stay upright, as no kickstand or anything was included to help it stay vertical. The sail really makes this bike shine and make it one of the best NINJAGO bikes to date.

Despite following numerous past NINJAGO motorcycles, 71745 Lloyd's Jungle Chopper Bike appears remarkably distinctive and looks fantastic! I love the rugged aesthetic which certainly corresponds with this arduous environment and the fabric sail seems perfectly consistent with other vehicles from The Island. Furthermore, the sand green and dark green colours are quite appealing together.

The smallest of the Island themed set, Lloyd's Chopper bike is a very satisfying set on almost every front. The build is engaging, the pieces are interesting, there's an exclusive female(!) minifigure. The $20 US price point is the main issue, as at only 183 pieces, that brings the price-per-part calculation in at an unhealthy 11 cents, which is very high for a non-licensed set. If they had priced this at the $14.99 US price point we see on other LEGO sets, that would have brought this in-line with the other Ninjago sets with a ~8 cent ratio. You may way to wait for a sale to pick this one up, if those calculations matter to you. But if you're just looking for a fun Ninjago set with some great figures, then don't bother waiting. For a cheaper Ninjago set, there's a lot here to enjoy.
