This pack is designed for older kids but I bought it anyway since my 4 year old is a huge Star Wars fan. With some parental help we were able to assemble this in about 45 minutes. It is a great addition to our Lego universe. SO many of the Star Wars Lego sets are super expensive so we were pleased to find this one so reasonably.
A fine upgrade to the previous set 6207 A-wing Fighter, and long overdue for a remake since 6207 came out 6 years earlier. While a couple of features changed, a lot stayed the same.
LEGO has outdone themselves once again. We get three excellent minifigures (one fully exclusive, one redesign, and one hard-to-find), and a model that captures the look of an A-Wing much, much better than the previous three. Of course the price is horrendous, but also expected seeing as this is part of the Star Wars line.
This is overall a well-designed set with some good figures, including that are especially nice to get when you missed them the first time around, and very much worth getting. And I suggest getting it while it can still be found on retailer shelves. It's already pricey at $24.99 US, and once it's off the shelves the price tag will likely turn downright ugly. And I mean Palpatine-level ugly.
