I'm really happy with this set and glad that I chose this. The ship itself is great and it's quite large, I sadly don't have the skiff to comapre it, but it's almost half meters long. The figures are lovely especially Max. The set also contains loads of useful parts in brown, dark tan and the usual SW colors (gray, dark gray, black). I really like the play features as well, I buy sets to display rather than playing with it, and this set is on the border between display and play set; the opening side is a great addition for kids to play and a good way to show the sets interior. We also have the cannon in the nose, the Barge has wheels too and there is the indispensable set of flick- missiles.

This is a really cool set! The top comes of pretty easily but doesn't stay on very securely. We took a piece from our "extras" bag and added it to the middle to make the connection more secure - problem solved, works great. The sides come down to show the interior of the barge which is pretty cool. Also, it rolls which is cool. The only real issue is with the main gun in the front, you can't fire it without removing it from it's hold area. Not a real big deal. It creates a nice scene with the skiff! Definitely a worthy addition.

As the only Original Trilogy set released this Summer, and most likely the final in the selection of Jabba the Hutt related sets, this is a wonderful model, and if you can purchase it on sale then I would not hesitate to buy it. For Original Trilogy fans therefore 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge is highly recommended, although if you are a fan of the Prequel Trilogy too, then I might choose 75021 Republic Gunship over this set, despite the slightly higher price point of that model.

The Sail Barge doesn't do much to justify it's existence or it's cost. Skip it until you find it on a great sale, or really want the minifigures.

LEGO's second version of Jabba's Sail Barge is a neat little model that carries a big price tag. It's an iconic Star Wars vehicle well deserving of some shelf space.
