The Troop Carrier appeared in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, and kids can recreate the scenes from the movie, or they can reimagine their own Droid army invasion. This is also a great set for building out troop collections.
Overall I think this is a great set. Pro's: -Great Value for money -15 Mini figures! -Great for Role Play -Fairly big Con's: -A bit tedious to build -14 droids vs 1 gun-gun If you are thinking about buying this set but it's one of your only sets in your collection buy something else. It's 14 vs 1 so for independent battles it's not great. However if you need more droids for an army or have a fairly large collection it is definitely worth it.
My son loves Legos and Star Wars and he put this together very quickly on Christmas Day. He loves it!
I think this is a really good set on the whole. You're not going to get 12 battle droids in a set very often. The build itself also looks very good. Playability is reasonable since it's fun to deploy the droids to attack the poor Gungan. The price is a little high but the sheer number of figures makes up for it. I really like this style of set and hope LEGO does something similar one day for clone troopers and stormtroopers.
