A very well interpenetration of one of the most iconic villains ever, the building process was very fun, and the fact that this vader is made up from Bionic'ish Lego parts makes him look very aggressive, as if he's some sort of an "armored Vader", it just makes him look very cool in my opinion, and the size of the final build is great whether to play with or just have on display, I highly recommend this to any star wars and or Lego fan! (I included a photo to show what the final thing looks like if anyone is interested)

The figures can be used to recreate scenes from their movies, especially the Luke set, which has the handcuffs from his capture scene in Return of the Jedi. The high level of articulation also makes them very posable so they will look great on display.

Although the Luke Skywalker build-able figure is perhaps the simplest out of the first range of Star Wars build-able figures, I think he is worth adding to your collection. As a finished model, it looks rather good. The proportions aren't perfect but the detailing and movie accuracy is great. The build is easy, enjoyable and the finished model is very pose-able. Luke comes with his Return of the Jedi outfit and green lightsaber. Only the chest-plate is printed but that makes sense as Luke's black Jedi outfit was very simple. His head piece is better than the photograph makes out, but it seems slightly too small compared to his shoulders (Darth Vader suffers from the same proportion problem). True to the film, one of Luke's hands is real and the other one is his mechanical hand. The pose-ability of the figure is great and if you have the Darth Vader figure then you could easily act out many scenes from Return of the Jedi. For added playability and movie accuracy, Luke also comes with a pair of handcuffs. The only thing I don't get is why Luke also has a blaster? As a fully fledged Jedi Knight he has no need for such an 'uncivilised' weapon as Obi Wan would say. I don't think this is the greatest of the build-able figures from this range but I don't think he's as bad as the photo makes out and he is worth adding to your Star Wars Lego collection.

Is Luke a bad figure? No. In fact, he's very solidly built, a good size, and comes with the most accessories of the wave. His face will take some getting used to, but I don't think it looks as bad in person as initial photos made it seem. Granted, if you aren't a big fan of the character, this might be a tough sell at $20, especially considering many of the other figures in the wave are a bit more interesting than him. However I wouldn't immediately count him out. That said, his color scheme isn't nearly as interesting as a rebel pilot would have been, and he's not a terrible interesting figure to look at.

75110 Luke Skywalker is my least favourite of the figures in the new range. The model is lacking in detail when compared with others, although it is still a worthy addition to a display as Luke compliments 75111 Darth Vader very well indeed if you pose them together.

I wasn't very impressed with Luke when I first saw images of the set, and he still fails to shine compared to some of the other Star Wars Buildable Figures sets, both in overall design and parts usage. However, he has good human proportions and solid armoring, which is something most CCBS sets have failed to achieve in the past. In fact, I think this is one of the most solidly build sets as far as back armor and such go, and while the black doesn't let him stand out, it also achieves a good overall flow. Plus, he looks quite like his character, and his weapons are good designs that look neat in many action poses. It also helps that he's the only protagonist from the original trilogy, which certainly influenced my selection of him. Luke's probably not the best of the lot, but he still manages to be a decent set as far as I'm concerned.
