Bought this as a gift. Hubby love it and stated it was challenging to put together.

Awesome set. Really fun to build despite the repetition of the hyperdrive. The ship is quite easy to build, while the hyperdrive can be challenging at some points. It has a very nice, even genius, 'handle' & way to connect the ship to hyperdrive. While holding the 'handle' u can easily hold entire set to fly around, remove ship, or fire either springloaded shooter on hyperdrive. Ship itself has a nice spot to hold while flying w/o hyperdrive. Ship also has a spot for R4's body (as only his top is put onto ships wing for flying), and has spot for lightsaber & spare springloaded shooter ammo. Ship is very well done with 2 stud shooters and wings that can be flat or folded down a bit. Come with great minifigs. Young Boba has short legs and either a upset/confused look or the best evil grin ever. Jango comes with only one face but he has printing on his legs, a jet pack, guns, & blue helmet with visors & antenna thing-(I've also heard it called a rangefinder). R4 is R2 with different colors, nothing too special, but nice to have an R4 figure.. Obi-wan has 2 faces, angry or worried, printed legs (just a few lines), & a blue lightsaber with silver hilt. Overall great set & fun build. Highly recommended.

I would say this set is not bad. I actually quite like how the Hyperdrive Booster Ring itself looks, and when the Starfighter is attached to the Ring it looks pretty good too. Unfortunately, when removed, it looks very stubby and inaccurate which is pretty disappointing. The set does offer pretty good play value, though: it may not have lots of play features but the whole Ring and the Starfighter by itself are very fun to swoosh around.

Skip this set, pick up the minifigures on the aftermarket if you must, or at least wait until 75191 goes on sale. The only fans who should pick up this set are those who are really determined to own every aspect of Star Wars in LEGO form – the pedantic will note that this is the first Attack of the Clones style Jedi Starfighter with the ring. For everyone else, bask in the fact that you can breathe easy and skip this set.

There is a lot to like about this set. I love the shape and colour scheme of the hyperdrive ring as well as the impressive swooshability and sturdiness of both models. Unfortunately, the content of the set does not justify the price of £89.99 or $99.99 in my opinion and a couple of potentially appealing characters are excluded.

This was the one set that I wanted to get my hands on (besides the Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike set) from the summer wave as it is the first time that Obi-Wan's Starfighter is packaged with his Hyperdrive ring. Pros: More movie accurate than it's predecessors. Very Sturdy design and definitely “swooshable". Good selection of minifigures. Cons: Local Recommended Retail Price is a little too high. Stickers over curved edges (peels off easily over time).
