The AT-ST set will be fun for fans who want to play out the action from the new movie and collect minifigures of some of the new characters. This set will definitely get Star Wars fans excited about what's to come when the movie hits theaters in December.

The set is very good and I love the fact that the set is bigger than it seems on the box. Keep up the good work, LEGO!

Recommendation: no 2 / 5 by Nick Martin

I wanted to love this set as much as I loved the episode it was based on. But a poor build quality, ugly color and look, and only one great minifigure (Mando himself will be in the Razor Crest – a much better looking set), really drag it down. It's… lazy.

75254 AT-ST Raider is undoubtedly my favourite of the numerous AT-ST models which LEGO have produced. Its distinguishing colour scheme stands out within the Star Wars theme and replicates the worn aesthetic of salvaged technology. The unprotected wiring appears particularly authentic, further differentiating this vehicle from its predecessors.

75254 AT-ST Raider offers a solid version of the classic Imperial walker and stands out from the previous releases thanks to its unique colours. It seems incredible that this set has been released while the Razor Claw has not yet, but those who would like to own an excellent minifigure version of the titular Mandalorian have only one option.

75254 AT-ST Raider released to support The Mandalorian uses a substantially identical structure to the 2016 AT-ST from Rogue One, featuring a radically different look that we'll have to wait to see in action on the show. It's a fun model with cool play features, even though I'd still love to see a walker that can, well, walk.

The build is fun, even if you have built the 2016 variant and it has decent play features, which don't overpower the appearance of the set in order to incorporate them. Plus it's currently the only set to feature The Mandalorian, which is a cool looking Minifigure.
