Poe Dameron's X-wing Fighter

set goes together well, interesting to see that the build steps are very similar across almost all of the x-wing sets that have come out. love the orange and how it looks like an arrow when viewed from above, makes it look speedy. character models are all top notch, hair pieces are great and i love poes helmet. they are getting so good at doing these minifig parts. more less

I have one of the resistance X-wings and the recent rebellion one. So I wasn't that excited when LEGO released another. However, while the build is basically identical to the other recent X-wings the design is awesome. I love the color scheme of this ship and it's reflected so well in the set. The figures are also great, Poe is good, Jannah is actually surprisingly detailed, and the Knight of Ren is a fine addition to the collection. Maybe 10 dollars less would be nice but it's hardly material. If you are considering this set, I would go for it especially if you can find it on a slight discount. more less

The "s-foils" have the ability to switch between "attack position" and "flight/landing mode," which was one of the neatest features of this set and made it a really fun interpretation of this new version of the X-Wing. more less

Poe Dameron didn't improved his taste in colors, even after 3 movies... But the set is nice, but a bit overpriced. It is still an iconic starfighter, even with its resistance livery. more less

While this ship does have play features, I found them almost impossible to use. It lacks “swooshability", as there is no real way to hold the ship that does not cause the wings to retract, the guns to fire, or random landing gear to fall off. While this may make the ship feel more true to Star Wars canon (where the rebel ships were a mishmash of parts held together with duct tape and hope) it leads to a model that neither Tom nor I could figure out how to hold. more less

75273 Poe Dameron's X-wing Fighter certainly represents a considerable improvement upon earlier versions of this elegant vessel, although potential for subsequent development remains. The orange and white colour scheme looks magnificent and I also love the updated engine nacelles. By contrast, the inaccurate design of the S-foils is particularly disappointing because LEGO has now received two opportunities to rectify this issue. more less

Even though the price may be a bit too high, this set comes with two unique minifigures: Jannah with her bow and a Knight of Ren. This may be its unique selling point and worth the extra money. more less

75273 Poe Dameron's X-wing Fighter is by far the standout set from the latest wave of LEGO Star Wars sets. Whilst it may not re-write the rulebook or even come close to adding a citation, it doesn't need to. Currently, there's little to improve upon the LEGO X-wing design, bar the subtle changes in bodywork and detail that have been added here, and the truly awesome colours it has been built in. Throw at least two very desirable minifigures into the equation and this set has everything a LEGO Star Wars set in 2020 should have – fun, design, playability and collectability. more less

In terms of pure design and well-integrated play features, 75273 Poe Dameron's X-wing Fighter is my favorite iteration so far of the new X-wing starfighter. If you haven't bought one of the new X-wings in the past few years, this is a great one to start with [...]. I also appreciate the extra minifigs included with the set, since it's doubtful we'll see any sets in the immediate future that include Jannah in particular. more less
