Recommendation: yes 5 / 5 from 1 review

The build-able figures line by Lego is a bit of a mix. Sometimes the figures are amazing and other times they're just average. This is one of the better figures. The Scarif stormtrooper hasn't had as much retail attention compared to the Death Trooper, but the new helmet and unique colour scheme are very interesting. This figure is excellently detailed, even including battle damage and doesn't even use any stickers. The build is similar to Technic, but is quick and easy yet results in a pose-able and sturdy figure. The helmet is a stand out being well proportioned and detailed. The hip pads don't work as well as the shoulder pauldron for the Death Trooper, but does add extra movie authenticity. Altogether a great figure especially considering there are very few Scarif stormtroopers available.

Bought this as a present for a lego and star wars fan. I obviously haven't put it together, but the package looks great and the figure is very detailed. I think she is going to love it.

I like this set. The figure looks good and is very poseable. Unlike most fans I've encountered, I actually don't really like cloth elements in CCBS figures because they are hard to pose, so I'm happy this one doesn't have any.

I have no significant criticisms of the figure but favour 75524 Chirrut Îmwe over this set simply because the Rebel character is more prevalent in the film and offers slightly better value for money based on the inclusion of a larger weapon and a fabric component. Nevertheless, I recommend 75523 Scarif Stormtrooper to Buildable Figures fans and hope that we might one day see an Imperial Stormtrooper to stand alongside this character in service of the Empire.

While lacking in huge play features, nobody is expecting a gear function with movable arms and hips. The set is what is pictured on the box: a Shoretrooper that will look cool and is built with tan costraction parts. If that excites you, then this is the set for you! He looks cool, can pack a punch with his blaster, and is overall a the standard Star Wars buildable figure.
