I'd go as far as to say that The Milano is a work of art – a beautiful spaceship that makes clever use of colours and parts to achieve a very unique and iconic look. I felt that the designers did a super job recreating the spaceship's movie look in LEGO. It's terrific as a display piece or as a toy with all the swooshing around.

Overall this was a joy. The interior is great: spacious, plenty of seating, a very detailed cockpit, lot's of free clips. What's not to love?

My 5 y/o really enjoyed putting this together. During the assembly, it doesn't look like it is going to be much but once it is all together it is pretty impressive. The minifigs are great and some of the configuration choices the designers used were pretty interesting.

This is a really cool set with tons of great detail and the three exclusive figures that kids and older fans and collectors will really appreciate. For kids, this set will inspire lots of imaginative intergalactic play.

The biggest knock on the set is probably the price, but I will say, there's a lot of big pieces to the set, and unique minifigures to add a bit of value. There are some new, unique colors, but not a lot of brand new parts other than the guns for Star-Lord and the Sakaaran. It's a fun build, and you won't feel disappointed in what you get for your money.

I feel that if you are a big Guardians of the Galaxy fan, or will be once the movie premiers, this set is an essential. The price tag or storage space might change that fact, but overall the Milano is a large, respectable ship that contains a great number of key minifig characters. Building it is fun, swooshing it around is a must, and hanging it from your ceiling like a model would be really cool.
