Kids can build, and play out whatever Marvel adventures they want with this set. The minifigures also make it very collectible, and a great addition to an existing LEGO Marvel collection.
I was kind of iffy of getting this set, because I already own an avenger's jet. But at the end, I found a local private seller for a decent price, and had to pick this up for my son (main because of the Giant man). I had to build this together with my son as he needed help, but he was able to build most of it himself. Once the set is completed, it looks awesome, and it has a lot of play features in it. The little mini ant man is a nice touch, it is amazing how much details Lego has put in their playsets now. Pros: - Amount of mini figures included - GIANT MAN!! and mini ant man - play functionality Cons: - Price, as it is towards the more expensive side - another Avengers jet Overall, i would recommend this set if you are a Marvel fan
This is a complete set with lots of figures, vehicles, a building and other accessories. Kiddos are still playing with this set. They love taking this out and playing with it.
I'd say this set is definitely a good set. The minifigure selection is outstanding, the playability is good, and no complaints about the price. That said, the Quinjet and the Control Tower builds could be better. Worth picking up if you still can.

I display most of my Super Heroes sets, but apart from Giant-Man, I foresee myself packing this one up pretty quickly and putting most of it into storage.
The Airport Battle's a cool set with a bunch of cool parts. There's always the what-could-have-been angle (an actual airport playset?) but it is what it is. And what it is is not bad. Plus, all those minifigs do give it an edge.
Pros: The minifigures are nice. You get 6 minifigures, one nanofigure and a giant man. Cons: The tower too small, Quinjet too. And LEGO should have printed on giant man's suits instead of stickers.
Super Heroes sets typically provide huge play value by virtue of the minifigures alone but this is a truly extraordinary offering. Not only does the set include plenty of characters with a range of different powers and scales but the models also contribute to the playability and are a great improvement over most Super Heroes models which are little more than a backdrop for the minifigures in many cases.
