The helicopter for Cyborg is actually not bad and has some decent functionality, like the net that fires from one side; I sort of question why he requires a helicopter but whatever. The snow plow is almost a joke. It looks goofy and again more vigorously begs the question "why does killer frost have a snow plow?". As a collector I tend to leave the sets in tact for the most part, but I almost immediate disassembled the snow plow as it was severely lacking. As a collector the main draw was the variety new minifigures. There is a new flash and cyborg. The addition of killer frost is great and the Reverse Flash just about sold me altogether. I also really appreciate the new crop of minifigure accessories.
When I got this set, I was really exited. I saw that it had Reverse Flash, and that is one of the main reasons I got this set. Minifigs: All of the Minifigures in the set are exclusive. The Cyborg figure is awesome and great to have if it is your first Cyborg minifig. The new Flash minifig has new torso printing and a new face print, and I like it more than the original one. The Killer Frost minifig is great. It and Reverse Flash are both new characters and both are awesome for any DC fan or minifigure collector (reverse flash is my favorite). Builds: The Killer Frost ice car is cool. It has two stud shooters on top so you can help Reverse Flash secure the blue energy infuser. The CyberCopter is one of my favorite DC vehicles that does not belong to Batman. It has a net launcher that works OKAY. Your supposed to use it to catch the villains. It also has a rotating propeller, Stud shooters, and you can even take part of the copter of and put them on Cyborg! This set is great and i totally recommend it to anyone who collects minifigs, any DC fan or anyone just looking for a great lego set.
A great selection of minifigures, including some never released in the brick before, and eye-catching vehicle design makes this a fairly collectible choice. I'm somewhat less bothered by the Ice Car, but it does mean that younger LEGO fans can enjoy an actual chase so I understand the decision to include it. This is a pretty decent set and if you can find it at a discount, it's one you should probably pick up if you can, if only for the exclusive figures.
I'm not a big fan of this set. The minifigures are not bad, with Flash and Reverse Flash being standouts, but Killer Frost and Cyborg do have some problems with their designs. The builds are also pretty bad if you ask me, while playability and price are just alright.
