I really adore this set. I bought this set almost solely for the minifigs, which are great. However, I was surprised by how much I liked the speeder, which I originally thought was just a parts booster to justify the purchase price. But it grew on me and I have to say, the speeder is as important a part of the set as the minifigs.

This was my son's first lego set. he's 7 years old and I thought he would just play with it and not really understand how to put it together but I was shocked and so proud, and so was he when he showed me he had put it together all by himself! I was amazed! I think it is great! It's really developed a love of lego building for him. The directions are simple. No words, just simple but detailed pictures of how to put it together. Love this product!
