It looks like a great little set to start this line off. I'll definitely be buying more.
A great set to have, especially if you're stretched for cash. Good minifig + accessory to price ratio and you get a little siege machine which can be useful when combined with other castle sets.
This lego set is perfect for my 6 year old. He loves to put the people together while I build the set. After so many, these little sets are so quick to put together. My son was excited to have these extras with his big castle. The horses are pretty cool as they have their own armor.
I'm glad to see the "classic" type of knights being brought back, not only Castle with fighting orch. This line has potential, so let watch out for the rest of the sets!
Knight's Showdown is a great little starter set to provide you with an introduction to the Kingdoms theme. It's probably not the best army builder, but a few of these sets certainly help the cause. The catapult design is nice and while it moves pretty well with the barrel lid wheels, the catapult itself seems a bit small (and short). Not much more to say other than I would definitely buy this again; in fact I may buy a couple extra.
