Purchased for a child who adores and collects Lego sets! He and his dad spend many hours together with LEGO brand sets. A nice addition to his LEGO collection. He spends hours playing with all of them.

The 8069 Backhoe Loader is simply a great model! It has a very nice assortment of parts and the building process was pure pleasure as they used some very interesting techniques to stack all those functions in the model.

Overall the 8069 Backhoe Loader is an excellent set – try and find another $60 set with this many functions. It's an easy, educational build for new Technic builders, and it contains good parts for a growing collection. Experienced Technic builders will appreciate 8069's functions and execution, although they, like me, will probably spend hours trying to devise a way to improve the bucket tilt.
