My grandsons love Legos. They started with the duplos when they were very young and have loved them ever since. They have many of the sets and my daughter has purchased little cabinets made for holding screws to keep the tiny parts sorted. They spend hours not only putting together the kits as they are shown but creating their own things. It's so amazing to watch. Keep it up--this is a good product.
The carrier is well designed, not too big, not too heavy. You don't have to be “big-handed" to take it and the building is strong enough for several take off and landing from the air. The way the large propeller is held is not the best as it tends to move round his vertical axis.
This set is definitely a must buy if you're looking for red pieces or collecting the Atlantis sets. The Neptune Carrier is really fun to play with and provides a great interactive experience well after constructing the set. When I purchased the set I had my mind set on buying the Atlantis Exploration HQ; however I didn't see it until after spending my money on other the Neptune Carrier. At first I was a bit upset but after building this wonderful ship I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.
