Lego have come along way since the first TIE set they produced all those years ago. I like the new pilot though the set could have included a special minifig like Grand Admiral Zaarin though I understand that few people would know who he was. For once the prince seems fair for a Star Wars set in the UK which is odd or I'm just getting use to the price, I'm certainly planning on getting a few more in the future.
Awesome set, a welcome addition to my TIE collection. I highly recomend this set. The seller was fast and friendly!!!
I hate to give a .5 but it's not great enough to give a 4, and it's really as good as other sets so it warrants more than a 3. Would I buy it again? Yes! Would I pay the amount I had to pay again? No. I'll wait for clearance. Or at least a 25% off LEGO's MSRP price. Not my local store prices.
Overall, this is not a very good set, honestly. The build itself is kind of meh, while the price and minifigure selection are quite poor.
If you have $50 to spare, you like LEGO Star Wars sets and/or you wish to commemorate the 30th anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back", you'll find a lot of pleasure in this set.
