I have never thought this blister pack would be desirable that I skipped buying it and urged myself to wait for a price reduction. Ostensibly, the day did not come that I have to order it overseas, but I am glad I have bought it.This set comes with three exclusive minifigures: Chief O'Hara and two Gotham City police officers. Also included in the pack is a quick build of the bat-signal; you will notice it is a diminutive version compared to other releases from the Ultimate Batmobile (70917) or the Lego Batman Movie Accessory Pack (5004930).In conclusion, if you are a hardcore DC fan and a completionist of its Lego line, then this set is for you. If not, you might want to skip this accessory pack and save your money to other sets.
Really great accessory set with 3 mini-figs. I got it on sale and feel its worth every penny. Fits very well with other sets for play-ability. Would be a bit bland by itself.
As a LEGO set, the LEGO Batman Movie Accessory Pack is a terrible value both in terms of bricks, and for build time. When considered as a sort of extension of the LEGO Batman Minifigure series, it is still overpriced, but not horribly so. The Minifigures (which are the whole point of this accessory pack) are great, and I really like them. But, the Bat-signal build is really weak compared with the free version that was given out in the LEGO Store a year ago. Do I recommend this set? Yes and no. If you are a real Batman fan, and want to have even the lesser known characters, I would say yes. Even if you just want to fill out your LEGO City police department with some unique looking officers, then this is a good little pack. I would also say it is a good way to get the harder to find Bat-signal pieces if you missed out on the freebie last year, and if you don't want to dish out $159.99 for the Ultimate Batmobile. You could spruce the design up on your own with some pretty standard bricks. But, overall, I think this kit is overpriced for what you get.
Excellent though the three minifigures are, I find it difficult to justify purchasing this set. Chief O'Hara has several lines of dialogue in the film but none of the characters included are of particular consequence and the appeal of the Bat-signal is limited by its appearance in 5004930 Accessory Pack. The price point of £10.99 or $12.99 is also a little disappointing as the slightly more expensive 70900 The Joker Balloon Escape offers far better value for money in my opinion.
