This ship has a lot of what I got into Lego Star Wars for in the first place (cool space ships) at a solid price. The second set out of my dark age was the Rogue Shadow, a similarly unknown expanded universe set, and still a favorite of mine. I'm able to enjoy it separate from any frustration I may have as an adult watching Clone Wars stuff meant "for kids." It's just a good ship.

Unfortunately, I've never played the Star Wars: The Old Republic game. I've watched some of the story videos, though, and know enough about the characters that I had to jump on this set. It comes with Jedi Master Satele Shan and Republic Trooper Jace Malcom, two of the biggest key characters in the Star Wars The Old Republic. The fighter itself is also an awesome set. The wings can sweep forward and lock for "Cruise Mode", or spread outward and lock for "Fighting Mode". It's got two huge laser cannons on the wingtips that rotate with the wings, and two flick-fire missiles under the engines. It's a large fighter that looks great pursuing the Sith Fury Class Interceptor!

This is an interesting model. It looks great in both wings configurations. The colour scheme is eye-catching and attractive. The minifigs are nothing special, but they are nevertheless very good.

I really wanted to like this set, but the misses outweigh the hits. The minifigures can't save it, and unlike it's enemy, the Sith Infiltrator, it doesn't look good on the shelf. Sure, some of the parts have a lot of utility in other builds, like the printed slopes used for the nose and the astromech tiles and dishes, but at this price point, they're not worth getting.
