I will encourage you to get this Ninjago Spinner for Samurai X because it is definitely worth it. Most importantly, the quality of this minifigure is not sub-par and is equivalent to any high quality LEGO minifigure which is normally available in LEGO sets. Plus, with the decent array of weapons given in here, I think it is worthwhile to pick a few to add into my Samurai collection. To be honest, I don't have a lot yet and I only had 2 of these. I may need to grab a few more of those if the price is 'right'.

My 6 year old son spent his own Christmas money ($25) on this. He has enjoyed. He would have enjoyed a similar Ninjago figurine that cost $10 - it is not hard to please 6 year olds. Like other Lego Ninjago products, it is well constructed and very detailed. Assembly is rudimentary, as with the other spinners, so it has no "educational" value.

This set comes with a new spinner and an exclusive minifigure not included in the first wave of 2012 Ninjago sets. If you would like some new parts and need an extra spinner, this set is right up your ally. If you would rather have a booster pack, you could pass on this set and get another great minifigure like Cole ZX or Lloyd Garmadon.
