Purchased this item for my grandson's 10th birthday. He is a veritable LEGO whiz with many very complex LEGO sets and often designs his own. He had requested the LEGO Death Star for his birthday, and this particular model was something he liked that wasn't too expensive.

This was probably my most anticipated set of the planet line and it is very good. The Death Star mold is perfect and will end up hanging from christmas trees everywhere next year!

This set is a great little collectible for the Star Wars fan. Great for the young ones to play with and for the older ones to keep around in their work cubicle, if they have one. (And when the boss isn't looking, play with it.)

The build and figure are nice enough, but the printed dish and Death Star are really too good to pass up. If you don't want a LEGO Death Star you can hold in the palm of your hand to add to your collection, then you have become too jaded and cynical and the inner child in you may just have been lost forever.
