I'm purchasing my goddaughter LEGO Hogwarts gift this year and I thought that this would be a great accomplishment to the set. The detailing looks good, but I didn't take it out of the box.

As a non-Harry Potter fan, I really have a hard time appreciating them. Maybe someday after I watch the movie I will love them better. However for Harry Potter fans out there, this is a must get set as the minifigures are upgraded version of old uglier version! Slughorn is exclusive!

These four minifigures are unique enough to add to any hardcore Harry Potter fan's collection. They may not feature great accessories, but the figures alone are unique and feature new, never-before-seen characters such as Professor Horace and major updates to characters like Boggart Snape and Dolores Umbridge.

I think that this is an excellent selection of minifgures, and if you are a Harry Potter fan and you have the chance to pick up this set, I would TOTALLY recommend it! While there are certain flaws (as discussed earlier) overall, they do an excellent job of portraying each of the characters included.

These Bricktober sets are often a great source of Minifigures and this certainly is no different. Every single one of the Minifigures could be considered rare, not only have some only appeared once before, others haven't even been in a set before.

5005254 Harry Potter Minifigure Collection is an excellent set. The exclusive Horace Slughorn delightful and I love this version of Dolores Umbridge, particularly since she has only appeared on one previous occasion. Rolanda Hooch is probably my least favourite of these minifigures and there are alternatives that would have been preferable, although she makes a perfect addition to 75956 Quidditch Match.
