This set looks fantastic and I can't wait to purchase. The Harry Potter line of LEGO sets are always crazy popular... I don't see this released lineup of sets to be any different. Having said that, these sets are new as of July 1. Therefore, I would recommend you check around before paying a price that is higher than retail ($39.99). This set is exclusive right now and hasn't been fully released (Aug. 1), so do your homework first. Happy bricking!

I brought two sets of the Harry Potter Sets expect for the Castle (expensive). My grandson (8yrs) and I are Harry Potter fans. With 2 sets of Quidditch, we developed a game that we can play. It is fun shooting through the hoops and finding the snitch. The only con was not enough playing figures and wish we had players for the other houses. We do wear safely glasses to protect our eyes from the flying pieces. We buy 2 of each set. Every set has been great. We are already saving for the 2019 sets.

While it's got a lack of excitement in the build process, it's all worth it for the looks of the set you end up with. While the towers are small, too small for more than one minifigure to sit in, they still look great, and are a massive improvement on the towers we've seen before. The rings are elegant and beautiful, and the ground they sit on just sets the stage for the overall look of the field. For a structurally simple set, it looks great and is yet another big drawcard in the resurrected and rebranded LEGO Harry Potter theme. It's also excellent to have four individual towers, one for each Hogwarts house.

All in all, a cracker of a set at a really accessible price-point. What I love most about this set is that it doesn't get bogged down in gimmicky and unnecessary play features – it's a great display model and has a ton of minifigs to really bump up the playability and displayability.

Overall, I think this set is pretty good. The build is nice, playability is good, and the price is pretty good – especially in Australia and New Zealand.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, 75956 Quidditch Match will make you very happy. It comes together to create a memorable and surprisingly large Quidditch layout — an excellent rendition of the scene from the film. There's a good selection of minifigures, and the Quidditch players are wonderfully swooshable with their capes and brooms. It's impossible to resist firing the red Quaffle from Flint's broom-mounted studshooter and see if you can't score a goal. The set probably doesn't contain the most useful selection of parts for creating different models (although granted, the sticker sheet is great if you want to build Potter-themed creations). The construction process does get a bit predictable by tower number four, but there are a couple of simple-yet-effective play features which make it great fun once it's all put together.

A very well balanced set with great selection of minifigures along with some play features with some brand new elements introduced. What is there not to like?

The updated LEGO Wizarding World Harry Potter Quidditch Match (75956) is a fun set with a decent amount of playabiliity. The build is kind of bland due to the towers having similar styles with minor differences between the four. Acquiring a second set would allow you to create a complete Quidditch pitch if you choose to do so. The minifigure selection is good as you wouldn't normally see some of the characters in other sets. One thing that I don't really like about the set are the goal posts. They are very flimsy and can get knocked off rather easily.

Among the seven new Wizarding World sets, 75956 Quidditch Match is probably the one that inspired the least excitement. Nevertheless, I think this is a magnificent addition to the theme! It improves upon the older versions in every respect, including a far more extensive Quidditch pitch and a superior range of minifigures but still costs just £34.99 or $39.99 which seems reasonable to me. In addition, a second set would allow you to construct a complete Quidditch pitch.

75956 Quidditch Match is like a potion missing a few of its ingredients. It does look good on display with the rest of the Hogwarts sets, but it won't leave you feeling like you've won the Quidditch World Cup.

Would I like to see an expansion set with players from the last two teams and more scoring hoops? Certainly. I think you may also need to pick up some clear pieces to make it look like these guys are flying to really make this a dynamic display piece, and I would perhaps like to see a new Rolanda Hooch in a collectible minifigures series at some point. But for the money, if you are a fan of this harry Potter sport then you really can't go wrong with this set, it's much improved over the older sets and you do get a lot for your money here in terms of what has been built overall. But if you have limited money to spend on this line, I think perhaps there are some other sets in this wave that should be your first priority.
