I absolutely love this set. Aragog is amazingly cool. all but one set of his legs are slightly adjustable (they move slightly to the left & right). The instructions are great and the shooting thing is okay. Love the way Aragog looks. This may be my favorite Lego piece.
So i recently watched all the harry potter movies because i saw the sets existed and i thought they were good. And this set is also quiet good, the minifigures are cute and accurate and the overwall set represents well what's it's trying to recreate but the price... i honestly don't get it. This could easly be a 15€ set and it would be perfect but it's 20€ and i don't understand why, it only has 2 minifigures and the rest is not that rare, except the spiders i guess, but yeah i was kinda disappointed with the price
The creepy spider Aragog is super posable and a great addition to any Harry Potter LEGO collection.
While the tree is pretty un-interesting, Aragog looks fantastic. I kept showing it to others, exclaiming how realistic it looked! It's creepy, a great size, and looks much better than the original two designs from years ago.
I think it's okay – the builds and playability are unremarkable, but the figures are nice and the price is good, especially for an ‘impulse buy' or if you want to get just a taste of the theme.
We do get a fair amount of new parts, such as the spiders and minifigure accessories, and with the tree build, the set feels like a good value at this price point, and so I believe it was priced fairly- Should you get it? I guess that depends on how much you like Giant spiders; If you are just a casual Lego fan, the main draw here would be a really nice spider build, especially if you missed out on the LotR Shelob set. As a Harry Potter set, this is great for those of you wanting to increase your list of magically monstrous creatures, and is most certainly worth getting regardless of if you have any previous versions of this 8-legged fellow; I doubt we will see any better versions of this scene, and I feel that my opinions on most of this wave will be "if you are a fan of the series, get it."
I am very satisfied with this little set. Aragog looks more impressive than ever before, due in no small part to his brand new printed eyes, while the smaller spiders are moulded in black and medium nougat for the first time and look equally good. Furthermore, the associated scenery definitely captures the atmosphere of the Forbidden Forest and includes a discrete function which is always very welcome.
The LEGO Harry Potter Aragog's Lair (75950) is a good little set and Aragog looks better than the previous iterations however there was an issue with mine. The two clips on the 1×1 plates for the fangs broke off possibly due to it not fitting on the combi hub piece.
