These Lego Duplo My First Emotions are just right for my 19-month old. She can put them together and take them apart. When I point to the sad face, she also makes a sad face, and sometimes she points to the happy face and imitates the smile. It is endearing to watch the interplay. She loves these Duplos.

Recommendation: no 4 / 5

As with all Duplo sets, this one's chunky bricks make it easy for the smallest hands to have a safe and satisfying building experience. And toddlers will enjoy exploring the faces of each character and building the characters however they want. We think this set will offer the most educational value when there is some parent-child interaction with the play, especially for the youngest kids.
