Bulk 3.0

First, this set can be combined with Hero Factory #2191 to make a combo hero. second, my 6 year old son was so thrilled to have put this together and create this hero. he will be even more thrilled to receive the other half for christmas. This one comes in a plastic case to store the pieces in if you able to keep up with all that. more less

I'm very pleased with Bulk 3.0. He is a wonderful source of pieces and a great wolf-like action figure. Personally he doesn't feel like the same character as his 1.0 form, but it's still good to finally have him (and Stringer) in the updated 2.0 form. I'd recommend Bulk if you want good MOCing pieces or the armour detail pieces that otherwise come with the more expensive sets, or if you already have one or two Savage Planet sets and want another, simply because other Heroes and Villains have more interesting new pieces such as shield/fist shells and the claw/spine pieces. more less

While there are only minor improvements compared to the 2.0 heroes, Bulk 3.0 is with no doubt a fantastic set. His design and his colours are great, and he comes with a fair amount of nice pieces. more less

I wouldn't say Bulk is the perfect set; he has his shortcomings. Some of them apply to all the Heroes (basic build, empty back, lacking of armor) while some are all his own (weak weapon design). But one thing Bulk's got is character; he looks like a wolf. His armor is sleeker (or not as… PUN… bulky as usual) and his weapons are light and quick for the agile canine. And his helmet is easily one of the best being released this summer. more less
