Expensive to buy here, but couldn't find it at the store. Need a Lucy for my 4 year old. Duplo alien is fun, too.
The LEGO Movie 2 Lucy vs. Alien Invader (30527) polybag is a cute polybag and is a good way to get an army of Alien Invaders. It is also a cheap way to get the printed 2×2 round tile of the eye.
The Alien Invader is this polybag looks similar to the one used in set 70827-1 - Ultrakatty and Warrior Lucy. However, that latter one contains a technic axle which allows its 'eye' it to rotate, whereas the alien in this polybag has a fixed eye.
The DUPLO aliens play a key role in the movie, but in the LEGO playsets they are actually created using LEGO system bricks to look like DUPLO elements. Although not a good as actual DUPLO built creatures, they do an decent enough job of recreating them. There are two other playsets which contain the same style DUPLO aliens. The one featured here doesn't allow you to move the eye but has the same basic build. The combination of colours are also unique to this set. Lucy isn't that rare, with the same variant found in six other sets. But it's a great way to add an DUPLO aliens to your collection.
