This is a fun set that can be used to tie larger sets together. The train can virtually take your mini figures from place to place. Setting the train between two sets provides an attractive display. I added a penguin for a bit of comedy. There are many small pieces with this set. If you are prone to lose them or have a child who does not do well with fine motor skills, this might not be the greatest choice.

Customer Video Review Length:: 2:28 Mins The product ordered was the product received. However, had I been purchasing this as a New In Box, I'd have cried upon receipt. Thank goodness all I needed was a Mint In Box. This was intended to be opened and assembled as part of the wife's Winter Village set the family works on together over Thanksgiving break. Sooo, I had to open the crushed box that was in a shipping envelope and validate no parts where busted or cracked and all there. Not what I want to do when I am paying more for a product then it's original value.

Trains are always fun - and while this set doesn't offer a load of play value, for it's price there is quite a bit here for kids to mess around with. For adults, you can't really beat the set for the money... If only LEGO had included printed 1x1 ticket tiles instead, this might have been a perfect small set.

The seasonal vignettes this year have been quite charming, and this one is no exception. I very much like how much you get for this little set (169 pieces, $9.99, 9.99€, £8.49) - several small builds as well as three minifigs, which is rare for a seasonal this size.

This is a fine little set. It hits the sweet spot of holiday decorations and includes classic tropes like the miniature holiday train. In addition to making a fine element of a Christmas display, this is a great parts pack (6¢ per piece), though all those wheels might be a bit excessive!
