Small but very creative. Has more detail than I thought from the pictures. Few pieces for the money but I think the price is the same for all Sketch kits. Will go great with my display of DC minifigs.
Overall, a fun little release from LEGO that won't break the bank, but will serve you well if you want to scratch that building itch, and are the kind of person to proudly display your LEGO collection to people.
I've always admired the designs Chris used to share on social media. So I'm delighted they are now available as an official LEGO product. They offer a unique build experience as you are layering elements instead of building 3D structures or vehicles. The result is a fun looking display piece, that would look great hanging on the wall or sitting on a desk.
Seeing how all the layers and textures were gradullay added to build this iconic face was wonderful. And the final model looks great (maybe a little small). All in all I'd recommend the theme, especially if you are a fan of the subject matter.
Compared to 40428 The Joker, this one is far simpler and if I'm honest, a bit boring. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with it, it's just the nature of the subject. However, it does look just as it should and is perfect for displaying alongside the green-haired criminal mastermind. DC fans will thus want both but, if I had to recommend just one of the four Brick Sketches to buy, this wouldn't be it unless you're a die-hard Batman fan, of course...
