I absolutely adore this piece and the whole elves collection. This is my first piece of the collection and I plan to get a few others. I took my time to put together, it was quite easy, clear directions. Yes I am an adult and love lego sets LOL. We have a 3 year old son who still plays with duplo and mega blocks yet and I have no daughters so I thought I would buy some of this for my self and display them in my sewing/art room. The sail on the boat moves along with the ships wheel, the spy glass moves as well as a few other pieces. I was shocked at the price but I found it for $25 on sale at a local store and I must say it was actually worth it. Great Engineering, Thank you Lego for your genius Ideas. I definitely Enjoyed this and recommend it for any age, not just the kids lol.
I started collecting the Lego Elves sets because of the dragons, and didn't really think of getting Naida's ship... I did end up getting it on a whim, and have zero regrets! It's epic, indeed! Beautifully designed, with so much detail, and encourages hours of adventures for me and my DD.I do wish the Lego mini dolls had holes on their butts to secure them to the seats, because they constantly slide off their seats, and it's a noticeable source of frustration! Regardless, thank you, Lego, for coming up with this line, and the Elves storyline, too! Looking forward to more additions to our Elves fantasy world!
LEGO Elves opens up a whole new, really cool building and play theme for girls. Naida's Epic Adventure Ship is really pretty with lots of fun details, and kids will love using this set to play out the story of finding the magic keys or whatever story they want to tell.

All in all, a great set. 312 elements (with 18 extras in my copy) for a $30 set is nice. This is a great set, full of interesting pieces and some elegant build techniques. I'd definitely recommend it!
Overall, this set really showcases this theme's defining values: non-violent fantasy adventure, otherworldly design sensibilities, and a balance between the creature comforts of civilization and harmony with the environment. It might very easily be the best playset of this theme's debut wave! I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in this theme, or even just a taste for fantasy adventure on the high seas!
I am really enjoying the Elves sets that I have so far. The bright colours and unusual subject matter is a welcome change to the Star Wars and Super Heroes sets I typically buy. 41073 Naida's Epic Adventure Ship may be quite small, measuring only about 25cm (10 inches) long, but it certainly lives up to its name in my opinion. There are nice details all over the vessel and the colours, which I keep mentioning, are very appealing. In terms of playability I think this set has a fair amount going for it. There are very few play features, but lots of accessories and the fact that the set is focused on a vehicle rather than a location, unlike most Elves sets, will work in its favour I think.
I think that Naida's Epic Adventure Ship is one of the standout models from the new Elves theme; it has lots of rare pieces, two fun characters, a great ship design, and lots of playability. There are some minor issues, like the one sided sail, but they can easily be overlooked for all the rest this set has to offer.
