I think these are pretty expensive for what you get, but......My granddaughter just turned four, and she has two big sisters to keep up with so she loves these tiny pieces rather than the ones intended for her age. Since one of her older sisters was more than happy to put it together with her, all was good. She loves it! Be sure you have a container to hold all the tiny parts before they get assembled so they don't get lost!
This little set is very cute & colourful. Smaller than I expected, but my daughter loves it. She thinks "hatching" the dragon out of the egg is a marvelous thing and has already built it into a made up scene on her Elves play mat. She has played with it every day since she got it.
This will be a perfect introductory set to the LEGO Elves theme. But once you have get the cute baby wind dragon, I don't know how you could stop without collecting all the baby dragons... There will be three more to be added to the collection in August, and personally, I can't wait to have them all!
At $9.99 and 80 pieces, this is a little on the expensive side if looking at parts numbers alone, but there are a lot of newer pieces in this set in lavender, azure blue and light green. Besides, I think Fledge is adorable and worth it on his own. This set makes for a great complement to the other sets in the wave - I just wish we had an adult wind dragon to build in this wave.
