The assembly of this thing was over 110 steps. So you better be good at following instructions with your child. Definitely for ages 6 and up.If you are not too good at following instructions or don't have at least 2 hours to put this together, do not buy. It's a great project for quality time to assemble. My grand daughter loved working on the assembly with me and the one on one time together.Assembly was Educational
This is a set that will appeal to LEGO Friends fans as well as kids that like to reenact daily life through mini doll play.
Got this for my daughter. She built her own food shop at home and we played for hours. Then we say this at the store and had to get it. She loves it. She runs the shop and I come in with strange characters to buy food. Now she wants some houses and tree houses... I love buying her toys she can learn from, play with and be creative. This was great. I just got her the tree house and she finished it in about 3 hours. Now she is begging me for some houses for her town. She wants the town people to come to her shops. Love it. I'll buy the rest of her stuff here on the site.
A LEGO Café is always fun to build -- and this one is no exception. For me the interior was the most fun and the equipment builds are very clever. The details are all inside. While I like the Modern, somewhat Art Deco presentation, it seems like it needs to just go ahead and be a larger modular set. The hinged Patio is cute, yet I was unsure how to position it. It coordinates with the main structure, yet looks separate, except for the hinge. Even when the roofline is lined up to the main structure, it still seems unfinished.
