Tanker Truck

I hope you'll agree 60016's tanker is a beautiful truck - the livery is clean and flatters the shape of the vehicle; its lines are smart and a definite improvement over some of 3180's rough edges; even the stickers look great! My only real criticism, aside from the somewhat lacklustre figure, are that as an single-chassis vehicle it lacks a degree of realism compared to most articulated tanker trucks that I see on a typical British road. more less

It is difficult to single out one LEGO set from the rest because the manufactured quality, effort, imagination and creativity are recognized in every single set, with no difference. In my opinion you cannot make a mistake, whichever you choose. I started bying LEGO sets long time ago and still, after all these years, I see that they preserved all the trademarks of their products and plus added some improvements over time. This is a decent little set that provides your city with a great looking tanker truck. The set's play value is limited by the fact that there is only a single driver for the tanker truck, though the small included pump does help somewhat. Had LEGO included a second (small) car and driver to use the included pump, this set would have been a 10 across the board. As it stands, it's still a solid set - and one that I'm plenty happy to now have in my own collection. more less
