This is a really fun and fast kit to build. You get both Batman and Joker minifigures (the Joker character has long coat tails.) It also represents a funny part of the movie with Joker and his balloons. The set has 124 pieces and is a good kit for trying out the Batman the Movie sets. It, along with the Catwoman motorcycle are good values and quick builds. The Joker in this set is one of the minifigures that my young grandson most enjoys playing with.
This set is a great way to get the main hero and villain of the Lego Batman Movie. Pros- -The figures are both very nice, especially the Joker, his new hairpiece and torso printing in partincuar are really cool. The utility belt for Batman is a great addition. -The Gotham City Energy Facility is a nice build that adds to this set. -The Joker Balloon build is anawesome accessory for the joker. Cons- -The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the alternate facial expression for Batman, but that parely takes away from the set. Conclusion- Overall this is a great Batman Movie set!
For me, this set hit all the right notes. You get the two main movie characters, a bit of structure to mess around with (and blow up), and a sweet balloon getaway vehicle (plus Batman's grappling hook so he can go along for a ride). And all of that is relatively inexpensive (by LEGO standards).
The balloon backpack is wacky as you would expect it to be. The main play feature is that this set can be expanded with the other sets mentioned before. Last but not least, you get both Batman and the Joker in a fairly low price point.

I think this a great set with good value. It's awesome to be able to get the two main characters in such a cheap set. In addition, the builds aren't bad either, and depict what looks to be a rather major scene in the movie (if the trailers are reliable). Unless you are buying more expensive LEGO Batman Movie sets that ha
Fans of the new LEGO Batman Movie will enjoy building a scene straight from the movie and recreating the scene or playing with Batman and The Joker in a whole new way. Kids will like the easy feature of the silo breaking open, which gives the set a little bit of action, while older LEGO Batman fans will like the new look of the Batman minifigure with its molded belt.
This set has a decent per-brick value and build. Though the Batman Minifigure is pretty much the same as in any other set, Joker is really nice, and both are pretty good for such a small set. Where this set really suffers is the build-time value. It is a really short build for the price that you will end up paying.
A quick and easy build, well worth the price if you are looking for ‘Movie Joker.' The balloons look great, and are readily reused in other MOCs.
The highlight really is the Joker and his balloon backpack… and we know that plays into the funniest thing we've seen in the trailers so far (because Superman is Batman's greatest enemy). The power plant part feels like an afterthought, but it's a better afterthought than we got in the Mr. Freeze set.
The set looks very colorful and it includes BATMAN and Joker, which is very nice for a small set. The backpack with the balloons is the best part of the set, although the tank is interesting too.
Overall, there are some great play features and a fabulous, colorful parts selection. Even with its slightly higher-than-average price, it's a pretty nifty set in my opinion.
70900 The Joker Balloon Escape is a thoroughly impressive entry at this low price point, offering tremendous play value which is only expanded when this set is combined with others. Furthermore, the models included look good on display and the two minifigures are excellent as well.
