Customer Video Review Length:: 1:08 Mins This is a great Lego set which includes Batman's Scuttler, Batman's hidden jetpack and six mini-figures (Batman in black, Barbara Gordon in her GCPD uniform, Dick Grayson in a blue tuxedo, Commissioner Gordon in his dress uniform, the Joker in a long tail suit, and Poison Ivy in all her vine glory. The Scuttler is the main event in this set. It has tremendous adjust-ability to transform into a variety of poses. I'll post some photos of a few of the positions I could adjust it to. It is also great fun to play with once the set is built. The Scuttler has a very feline look to it. It also has projectile “weapons" that can be shot from it.There are a total of 775 pieces in the set and takes a few hours to build. It was a fairly easy build. At this time, this seems to be the only Batman Movie Lego set that has Poison Ivy in it.

My wife and I bought this set for our daughter for her 9th birthday. This is all she wanted, She is a huge Batman fan and a certified lego maniac. She put 90% of it together herself but had some difficulty making sure the leg joints were snapped together properly. This where Daddy came in. She did take lots of breaks to play with the minifigs and it did take a few days to get together. If I added up all the time it did take her about 4 hrs or so. Pretty good I would say. It was a good build for her and she had a great time putting it together. I would highly recommend it!

The look of it is great and it has to be one on of my favorite sets for the movie. There's a lot of playability in it with the extendable arms to make it simulate it walking like a bat as well as the plethora of stud shooters and the net shooter. The minifigure selection is also great with the exclusive ones that you get with their alternative outfits. The price point is also pretty decent for what you get so overall I would recommend it, especially if you can get it on sale.

I have to admit that for a set I was not planning to buy, I ended up liking the Scuttler a lot more than I thought I would. It is a solid, fun set. At full price, I would say it is worth picking up. You get a decent value per brick, as well as for build time.

Not only is this a satisfying build as each stage is added to the model, but the finished design is unique – in the LEGO Batman range, in The LEGO Batman Movie and in the LEGO range altogether. Not only that, but there's a great mix of minifigures included. As a mech and a vehicle this is something that will be remembered as a one-off, or at least a first, in mixing design and playability in a uniquely satisfying way.

All in all, I'm very happy with The Scuttler, and the bold decision by The LEGO Group to produce such a bizarre, yet brilliantly designed set. This is definitely one of the must-buy large LEGO Batman Movie sets and I cannot recommend this set enough, if you can get it at a decent discount!

This is a great Batman-inspired LEGO set that is sure to encourage roleplay, storytelling, and helps reinforce fine motor skills. The entire build is a lot of fun and took us about two hours to put together.

This set seemed quite exciting at first, but its execution was, in my opinion, not great. I feel the overall look of the set is a bit messy, the play features aren't the greatest, and there are other LEGO Batman Movie sets which are better.

For my part, I enjoyed the build, the quirky nature of the finished model and the fact that the Scuttler can be readily posed without collapsing, although I guess I'll need to reserve final judgement until I've seen the Movie and can ascertain how faithful the Scuttler is to its silver screen counterpart…. I'm also very taken with the Poison Ivy minifigure which is wonderful.

I think the Scuttler is a cool new design style, and I appreciate all the details that went into making it look good. However, I think it's a bit to clunky in terms of posability and play value, and probably serves better as a display piece. The parts are decent but not particularly worthwhile. The figs are amazing, but while most of them are exclusive to this set, the characters all appear elsewhere in different outfits, usually in cheaper sets. Given the glut of amazing sets to come out of this movie, I don't think I would recommend getting the Scuttler first.
