I'm a huge fan of Mexican food (second only to Indian), so this particular minifigure strikes a chord with me. I have to say, the accessories for the Lego Movie minifigure series have been nothing but top notch so far.

Overall, The LEGO Movie Collectible Minifigures (71004) is a great addition to the minifigures line. There are a variety of different characters that are all over the place that you can collect from the Panda Guy to the Taco Tuesday Guy to Abraham Lincoln. This set of minifigs also has the most number of female minifigures in a single series with six. Although all the characters are tied into the movie, in theory you could possibly build an army with some of the minifigures such as a construction crew with Emmet and Gail, a panda army to take over the world, or a team of motorcycle cops. There are also a lot of parts and accessories that you can reuse in other themes like the different hairpieces, coonskin cap, and coffee cup. I highly recommend picking them up in preparation for the movie release. Happy hunting!

This is really cute, so Mexican! I think this minifigure is very well designed; prints and pattern are very detailed. Even in the yellow plate, there are two little chili pepper printed. I see some people commented that the poncho is difficult to put on. A tip to make it neat: after putting on both sides, use one hand to hold the triangle edges on both the front and back, then plug his head. This way the poncho is fixed and neat.
