The Classic King is one of those minifigures that feels so much more than a design refresh because of all the love and attention given by the designers. His stellar bunch of accessories and razor sharp printing makes this one of the leading Series 13 minifigures in my book. Credit where credit is due, this minifig just screams quality.

Overall, the Series 13 LEGO Collectible Minifigures (71008) are one of the best series I've seen in a while. The minifigures can appeal to a wide range to collectors and many of them can be potential army builders. Some of them are just wacky while others can fit into many MOCed themes as well. Designing new minifigures can be a daunting task but it seems that LEGO has got another hit with Series 13.

This set looks so much better in real life than I can describe! I absolutely love the hot dog...so, so cool! But the disco person, the unicorn ,the snake charmer, the female archaeologist, the alien, the cyclops.... they are so bright and colorful as a set! I highly recommend this one as a starter set if you can still get your hands on it for a not too outrageous price!
